Have driven past this restaurant at least 100 times . Stopped in tonight for dinner with a friend who was visiting from Alabama. Delicious meal.I will definitely be back with my wife. Friendly service. Our waitress,Julie was terrific. Give that nice lady a raise !

What a find! My wife and I were in the area (our first time) and looking for an afternoon dinner. Balch’s stood out on Google with reviews, pictures, and prices. We were not disappointed. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The food was especially good. This was on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was especially clean, the portions were large, prices very reasonable. We would dine there again if in the area RichieC

Service at Balches is nothing short of excellent. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to make your visit special. They recommended dishes based on my preferences, and their suggestions were spot on. The food was awesome!

Food was delicious. Free home made chips with horse radish dip Broiled scallops were delicious. Plenty of wonderful side dishes to go with your meal. The 16 ouze prime rib was cooked to perfection. The fried calamari was delicious. The waitress were great and attentive

Seafood is always delicious. Staff are very nice and bathrooms are clean. Highly recommend Balchs bangin shrimp.

Delicious meal! Our waitress, Christin, was great! I had 2 appetizers as my meal. 1/4 shrimp cocktail and the portobello mushroom sandwich with asparagus, crab and Brie cheese (no bun). Great portion for both. My husband had the manhattan clam chowder which he said was amazing! Had the sirloin for dinner which was great as well. We split the fried cheesecake for dessert and that was so good! They should have recipe cards on each table with that cheddar horseradish dip

I dropped by Balch’s because they’re the only place in Pike County that does Oktoberfest specials for the entire month. I got the schnitzel and my father got goulash and it was followed by German chocolate cake that’s made in House. The food was fabulous and transported me back to my time in Germany. I would highly recommend t that everybody goes to Balch’s in October and to try the German food.

Balch's is a cute local eatery. Grace was our friendly helpful server. The Wednesday special was baked haddock, sweet potato fries, and mixed greens salad with feta, craisins, and walnuts. It was so good! Dessert was even better. I had chocolate chip cookie dough brownie with peanut butter. It was a delightful meal! Highly recommend.
